Inviting Mountain Scenery

The Schwemmalm hiking area in Val d’Ultimo is one of the most traditional Alpine pasture areas in South Tyrol and is particularly renowned for its rustic mountain huts. Walkers, paragliders and mountain bikers come here to enjoy the magnificent mountain scenery in a serene setting. From the mountain station, there are easy and moderately difficult hiking routes for all the family leading through dense forests and pristine, flower-filled meadows. Experienced mountaineers, meanwhile, are drawn to the crystal-clear waters of Lake Arzkarsee and the peaks offering spectacular views.
